What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The driver-side air bag failed to deploy. The driver mentioned the air bag should have deployed based on the impact. No warning lights illuminated or sounds occurred prior to the crash. The vehicle was traveling at approximately 35 MPH. There was no property damage.
Despite having the automatic emergency braking system and forward collision warning, the car failed to slow down or alert me before I hit another vehicle during a pile-up.
While driving, I suddenly heard a loud sound, followed by an unexpected and uncontrollable shift of the steering wheel to the right. At the same time, the car unexpectedly accelerated, causing me to lose control and crash into a parked vehicle. The airbags deployed, and my car was totaled as a result of the collision.
car was put on rear and it leaped forward and crashed and caused property damage and driver was shocked. faulty system, Collison system failure, reverse gear failure. on two different occasions car initiated warning like misuse of pedals when car was rolling down which was errored warning. false lane assist warnings.
1.5 years after purchasing new my passenger side front door would not open from the inside. Mazda states car is out of warranty at 36837 miles indicating a cable had come disconnected. Approximately 1.5 years later at 59934 miles the front passenger door again would not open from the inside.
The rear wheel bearing failed at approximately 50k miles, causing grinding noise, humming, vibration, steering pull. It was replaced [dealer] 2025. The wheel bearing failed again at approximately 59k miles. I have seen reports from other CX-30 owners describing the same recurring wheel bearing failure.
Error the network failure error some kind of engine failure. Error I don't know what happened. But I've been having a lot of network issues. I've had a lot of battery issues with the car. It's been in the shop at carry. Monster a number of times they've never taken care of the issue.
My infotainment system is brikecked ! I cant turn off my lane assist and its like a battle to keep it in roads that dont have lines and especially when you get stuck in a groove of a road. Its scary!
