What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
While the contact's husband was attempting to park the vehicle, the vehicle independently accelerated. The contact stated that the vehicle was uncontrollable. The vehicle crashed into two vehicles and then crashed into a tree before coming to a stop.
On 2/4/2022 this vehicle was picked up from [dealer] (Service Center) [phone]. The vehicle was brought in for service regarding error lights and service lights. I was driving the vehicle from dealership back to my home and was unable to stop my vehicle and ran a traffic light and crashed into a Northwell Hospital…
The contact stated while driving 62 MPH, several unknown warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle started to lose motive power. The contact stated that the temperature gauge warning light was illuminated and a message to âStop Vehicle Immediatelyâ was displayed.
The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V365000 (Electrical System, Communication) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The local dealer was contacted, and it was confirmed that the part was not yet available.
As I drove the car a warning message popped in the screen stating "Malfunction" without any further details. The car kept running, apparently we'll at first. Then after car was turned off and turned on again the car accelerated by itself proving very dangerous.
