What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
When turning right into a parking space the car rapidly accelerated on it's own at full speed sending my car into a cement pole. The car went over the pole and stopped. None of air bags deployed. Someone called 911 and the my husband took me to the er.
While driving the vehicle at an undisclosed speed, the air conditioning system intermittently ceased to blow cool air. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed and determined that the cooling fan assembly needed to be replaced. The repair was not yet performed.
The check engine light, thermostat, or sensor affliated with the engine overheating. An engine overheating without warning lights or a dashboard indicator leaves you entirely blind to critical, fast-moving mechanical failures.Without an indicator, you cannot pull over before extreme heat causes severe metal…
RPM’s bouncing, slow to accelerate, enters limp mode. Dangerous when on the road as the car is not properly accelerating with the flow of traffic and could potentially stall out in the middle of the road. Will need either the valve body replaced or an entire transmission replacement.
On April 2, 2026, I was operating my 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport (Mileage: 45,905) at approximately 30 mph when a sudden surge occurred in the engine compartment. Despite depressing the accelerator, the vehicle lost all forward propulsion. I managed to coast through my development and into my garage.
In October of 2025 my car stalled in slow traffic after a 100 mile car ride. After 20 minutes, it started again. The engine code was P0507. Two weeks later, without warning as I was accelerating on the highway the car stopped in the middle lane. This was incredibly dangerous.
The transmission failed on my 2019 Nissan Rogue Sport. I was driving down the road and my car started to jerk and go faster and then slower while I was driving down the road at 55 miles per hour. I could not control the speed or the smoothness of the car operation.
Started with loud squeaky sounds when going over bump, accelerating, stopping. Also, seems to move slightly when stopping. DRIVER SEAT FAILURE. Nissan Service Dept says the seat frame has failed and this is a safety issue.
