(RECALL) all blue screen/ black screen, and no screen. I was backing up a drive way an damaged my whole right side of my roof. I did not get hurt thank god. Opened up a claim next day with Ford. I have opened 2 claims with FORD. It has been 8 months going back a forth with them.
5 seconds of loud noise and intense vehicle shuddering from the rear before the wheels locked and control was lost. Once traction was lost, multiple driver-assist indicators lit up, but shut off after motion stopped.
The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with battery failure. The contact was informed that the battery needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed with catalytic converter failures.
Followup on previous complaint. Manufacturer unable to perform recall on body because of lift package. Package was installed by manufacturer. Manufacturer releasing vehicle back to consumer as unrepairable, creating a possible deadly risk to both consumer and to highways.
The rearview/360-degree camera system on my 2023 Ford Transit 350 continues to fail, resulting in the rearview camera image and/or other camera views becoming unavailable. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.
Its a safety issue when traveling with children or pets because battery voltage drops if you have to run AC while in a store or something. You proceed down the road and the battery is not recharged. Next stop you may not be able to run AC at all.
Symptoms included erratic shifting at highway speed, clunking sounds, hard downshifts at low speeds, mis-shifting gears causing performance issues. No warning lights. Codes appeared in FordPass app after vehicle shut down.
The contact stated that before the failure occurred, the message "Hill Assist" was displayed on the screen. The contact clicked "OK," and shortly afterwards, the gear shifter shifted independently.
