The contact stated that the air bags failed to deploy, and the seat belt failed to restraint the driver as intended. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. The vehicle was deemed a total loss by the Insurance Company. The driver was transported to a local medical center.
I was involved in two separate accidents while driving this vehicle, and in both incidents the airbags did not deploy. In one accident, the vehicle struck multiple objects in a frontal collision at significant speed. The airbags did not deploy at all.
The engine failed therefore none of my parking assist sensors were working and I backed into a car because the truck was misfiring.
My boyfriend tried to unbuckle my seatbelt but it would not release. He ended up cutting my seatbelt and then at that time (approx 3 min after we landed) the passenger airbag deployed striking my boyfriend in the back, neck and head. Which knocked him out for approx 1 hour.
While shifted in reverse, the back over prevention camera intermittently displayed a black screen accompanied by two failing camera symbols. During the most recent failure, the camera displayed a blank image, causing the vehicle to crash into the garage door, causing damage to the garage door.
"[ref]" I had to leave it in the shop for 30 days for a defective Exhaust System, Radio, Charging Port, Remote Key Fob not able to unlock the truck so i could get in.
