What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The top right side panel came off when traveling northbound on rte 42 at about 50 mph. I stopped the vehicle at a safe place and retrieved the panel but it could not be replaced. This exposed the battery and other electrical/electronic components to the weather, making the vehicle inoperable under normal conditions.
I have a second issue on my c650gt for the tech to resolve. It may be connected to the first issue that I emailed you about earlier. I was traveling at 40 to 45mph, throttle was steady, all of a sudden the engine throtttle down to idle and the bike lost momentum.
