What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
I lost feeling in the side of my face where my head broke the driver's side window and almost bled out. I now have seizures and was recently fired from my job due to having 2 seizures at work. I have only worked part time in the last 2 years. If the air bags had deployed, I would've walked away uninjured.
The overhead and side air bags did not deploy in the vehicle. The contact sustained lacerations and broken bones on the face and body that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard, but was not repaired. The vehicle was destroyed. A dealer was not contacted.

My vehicle was parked in a parking spot on a slight incline with the parking brake engaged and the stick left in 1st gear. My vehicle then rolled <12 inches into the vehicle parked in front of it.

The 2.0T engine failed and the vehicle is currently at Hyundai service department waiting on my warranty company to do an inspection of the engine. My safety was at risk as the engine failed during normal operation of the vehicle on a busy city street near a blind curve which other vehicles travel at high rates of…
