What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The differential mounting bolt on the passenger side (the only one on that side) backed out and broke causing that side of the differential to smack the bottom of the car and then sag on the passenger side after letting off the throttle. Once it dropped it made the car come to a compete stop fast.
Left for mechanic and my car in the engine bay caught fire. Burned completly for total loss. ABS modularor had recall causing engine bay fires. Was wondering if this was why
The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V651000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was contacted.
The contact stated that when he turned his vehicle on the ABS warning light illuminated. The dealer was made aware of the failure but confirmed that parts were not yet available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 73,100.
In cold weather, instrument panel can take over 10 minutes to boot up and function.
The contact stated while driving 10â20 MPH, the vehicle went into LIMP Mode in the first twenty minutes of driving. The vehicle speed was reduced. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, but the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure.
There is a code that comes on my car, makes the engine light come on then it goes out on its own . And every year itâs back on same code. Has been happening for years . I took it to the dealership 2xs for the same reason each time they said nothing was wrong cleared the code and the engine light went out.
While driving I noticed an engine noise/rattle about 3000RPM. The engine seemed to run fine but was making this abnormal noise. At 73,083 miles I towed the car to the Hyundai dealer.
