The airbags did not deploy. Police responded to the crash and a police report was created. Medical evaluation was obtained at an emergency room following the incident because of pain after the collision. The vehicle was towed to a collision repair center and remains available for inspection.
Crash/Incident (property damage only): Within the first 2 months of ownership, while backing into a parking space at a grocery store parking lot, the Parking Collision Warning did not alert and Automatic Emergency Braking did not activate.
The contact stated that they could not recall the immediate events after the accident; however, they did note the side air bags did deploy while drive side air bag did not deploy. A police report was filed at the scene; however, the police report was not available due to an ongoing investigation.
I was involved in a multi-car accident on 11/16/23 wile traveling on the 485 Beltway around Charlotte, NC. It was approximately 6 pm, and completely dark. The traffic was very heavy and traveling at 70 mph ( the speed limit) when a car in front of me was stopped.
I was doing around 60 mph when a guy to my right did an illegal u turn right in front of my car. The front of my car hit the driver side of his car. There was extensive damage to the front end of my car but my air bags did not go off.
I put my car in Park and got out of car. The car started rolling, it was on a slight grade but it roll into a hill grade and picked up speed. It just missed another car and hit a cement wall. This is not the first time this has happened to me.
