What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
The air bags did not deploy. The driver and passenger were transported to the hospital via ambulance. The driver sustained neck, shoulder, back, hip and knee injuries. The passenger sustained injuries to the neck, shoulder, back, hip and a bruised hernia. The police reported to the scene and a report was filed.
While driving, the consumer was directed onto another lane of traffic. A vehicle hit the consumer from behind without warning. The passenger's side front seat collapsed forward and the driver and passenger side air bags deployed.
Both frontal air bags failed to deploy. Driver suffered neck and back injuries and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. The vehicle was totaled.
Brake pedal went to the floor causing vehicle to crash into another vehicle no damage was done. Dealer notified and informed consumer that nothing could be found. Can nhtsa help or provide details in this matter.
Multiple collisions, non-family member driving car. Driver had an epileptic seizure and blacked out. Apparently accelerated the mini van and rear ended a dodge ram pickup truck twice, and then ran into a telephone pole. Both air bags deployed. Driver wakened from accident.
While driving at various speeds, the horn failed to function and the air bag light remained illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was informed that the clock spring failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired.
At certain times the serpentine belt will slip off of the pulleys and quit powering the alternator, water pump, and power steering pump. This can be worsened by rainy conditions. Changing belt tensioner works for a year or two.
The dash panel dies and the abs light turns on followed by the check engine light due to the computer throwing a code. I have removed the dash panel three times and found the problem is at the female plug on the back of the panel, by using a wiggle test.
