My car had no warning signs about the danger of the air bag, and I along with my passenger was wearing a seat belt. I retained a lawyer and I wrote toyota and to this date no one responded, I just found your website today. I also have picutures of my injuries.
My husband was struck on the drivers front side and front of car, causing the whole front end to be smashed in, including the fire berecade wall. When hit, air bag in the car on the drivers side did not deploy, causing him to hit the window.
Vehicle was rearended and pushed forward into a vehicle in front, driver's side airbag deployed, causing laceration to face and chin and burns on chest.seatbelts were worn at the time, but the passenger side shoulder belt did not retract, relying entirely on the waist belt to hold passenger, who was thrown forward.
Consumer was going 25mph while it was sunny outside & car began to accelerate up to a higher speed. The only way consumer was able to stop vehicle was to hit a tree. No injuries sustained. Car was towed, and toyota was contacted and will come out to look at vehicle.
Consumer stopped behind another vehicle on the road. The other vehicle started backing up toward consumer's vehicle and she tried to reverse. But, the transmission did not answer. Also, moving the pawl to reverse, pawl popped out of reverse.
Steering wheel locks up while driving, impact 11:00 position, speed 30 mph. Tt
And told me my horn was making a funny sound and car lights were flashing, I then went outside to see and noticed lights were on , and when I went to see if I left them on, I opened the door and noticed there was a fire in the front drivers side of the car.
