While at an independent mechanic for repairs, the mechanic diagnosed that the subframe on the front driver side was corroded. The mechanic stated that the vehicle could not be repaired due to the extent of the corrosion. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 124,000.
Exhaust manifold repeatedly cracks. I don't drive it much the last few years because of this and I just found it is cracked again. Nothing seems to fix the problem. Many nissan owners have complained of the same issue.
The brakes have been a problem from day one because of calipers freezing due to rust. During inspection frame was witnessed to be badly rusted needing constant care. Gas tank has rusted thou at the top & needed replacement. The speedometer/odometer failed at 32103 miles and needed an expensive repair.
The contact stated that when they took the vehicle in for state inspection, the mechanic stated that the entire frame of the vehicle was rusted. The mechanic stated that the vehicle could not be repaired.
