What owners report
Short excerpts of NHTSA complaints in the original wording. These are owner statements not verified by NHTSA; personal data removed.
My car collided with a 1999 ford f150. My car hit the truck from behind. The impact resulted in severe damage to the front of my car. In fact, my car was totaled and the airbags never deployed.
When slowly pulling into a parking space (my foot was on the brake) with approximately two to one foot to complete this action, there was a tremendous surge of energy that drove the car forward into a building leaving a hole in the brick wall and broken windows.
The airbag did not deploy resulting in whiplash of the driver of this vehicle, followed by 3 months of recovery, reduced work schedule, pain, etc. This vehicle hit the other car in the driver side tire, breaking the front axle of the other car. Both cars came to a very immediate stop.
02 chrysler town and country was rear-ended by another vehicle. Drive seat back complapsed, ejecting driver of town & country to rear of van.
At 10:30 am, southbound at the 346 mile marker i35s, just north of waco, my 2002 chrysler town and country lxi minivan was in a rollover accident caused by the left rear tire tread separation and subsequent blowout. Minivan was in the left lane and driving the speed limit of 70 mph.
Dt: the contact stated on 5-7-05 vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle going approximately 50 mph. The contact was sitting still in his vehicle at this time. The vehicle was totaled by the accident. The passenger's side and driver's side seats fell backward. He did not have pictures of the seats.
Airbags failed to deploy during a collision. Passenger air bag did not deploy. The passenger was injured (chrysler town and country).
Problems with engine when air conditioner or heater was operative. (nar) the consumer noticed that when the heat or a/c were on the engine strained. The dealer replaced the compressor but that did not alleviate the problem.
