The contact stated that the forward collision avoidance system failed to engage to prevent the collision. The contact sustained a left ankle fracture from the deployment of the front dashboard air bag and was transported to a local hospital. A police report was filed at the scene.
The front end of vehicle was damaged. The vehicle was towed. The contact's wife had soreness to the body and was managing the soreness with painkillers. The wife was eventually taken to the doctor for X-rays. A Police report was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
Specifically, the SERVICE NOW light came on, the vehicle would not shift into park, and I was concerned about a CVT malfunction. I explained these concerns to the service advisor Jason who is the current service manager and expected that the vehicle would be thoroughly inspected and any necessary repairs would be…
The contact stated that six months after purchasing the vehicle, the vehicle was vibrating abnormally while driving, accelerating, and the vehicle was hesitating. During an oil change, the contact informed the mechanic about the excessive vibration while driving.
Vehicle airbags did not deploy when hitting a solid concrete wall at 50 mph after hydroplaning. Impact was front bumper.
The contact stated that the vehicle came to a complete stop upon engaging the parking brake and the CVT Service Soon warning light illuminated. The vehicle failed to shift into park, and the "Unable to shift into park; engage the emergency brake warning message" displayed.
During the crash the frontend of the vehicle was severely damage but no air bags deployed. The contact sustained a sore neck and head ace and was treated at the hospital the following day. No injuries were reported in the second vehicle.
Slippery road warning light activated before and during the incident. Multiple additional warning lights activated during and after impact. Airbags did not deploy despite collision.
