The cause of the brake failure was determined to be a material defect of a rubber section of brake line deep in the engine compartment that burst, causing a loss of all brake fluid. It was repaired under warranty.

There was front suspension failure where the lower ball joint has separated, causing the steering knuckle and wheel assembly to detach and collapse while driving- yes it is available to inspect if done tomorrow 2. Driver could not control car, passengers and other cars on road in immediate danger.
This creates a potential visibility issue because HVAC airflow is necessary to clear condensation and fog from the windshield and front side windows. In hot humid climate, windows can fog rapidly. Losing the ability to properly direct airflow can delay clearing the glass and reduce driver visibility.
