The contact stated that while attempting to park the vehicle, the vehicle suddenly accelerated on its own. As a result, the contact briefly lost control of the vehicle, only coming to a complete stop after colliding with a tree. The air bags did deploy. No warning lights were illuminated.
The contact stated that while pulling into a parking spot at 2 MPH, the steering wheel locked while straightening the wheel, and the passenger side rear panel crashed into a cement post. There were no reported injuries, police report, or air bag deployments.
I had the adaptive cruise control set to 62 MPH with lane keeping assist and all other safety features enabled. When the deer ran out out in front of the vehicle the emergency breaking did not engage, nor did it flash the warning or make the chime.
She had pulled into a parking spot, front end in, when the vehicle unexpectedly revved and lurched forward. The contact stated that the vehicle jumped the parking curb and crashed into a wall. The contact stated that the air bags deployed.
On October 19th at 4pm, driving at 72 miles per hour the engine lost power and the engine light flashed. As this was during heavy rush hour traffic, it was a big risk trying to get to the side of the road, get off the highway and travel at very slow speed (20-25 mph) until I could get home.
In February, 2026, while driving the car after cold start within 1 mile of house, engine light started flashing, car was misfiring and was losing power. I had to pull over, turn the engine off, restart it and continue without incident.
No steering no brakes could not shift could not turn car on or off. Towed to Honda dealer. They replaced battery and confirmed this can happen on the road while idling if battery is getting old. Very dangerous
