There were no warning lights or messages immediately before the incident. However, for several months I have repeatedly brought the vehicle to the dealership with concerns about the brakes. I reported that the brakes feel “gummy” or abnormal and make grinding and high-pitched/shrieking noises.

The electronic power steering rack is binding internally, causing a highly dangerous sticky steering condition on a 2025 Honda HR-V (VIN: [XXX]). [XXX] Honda previously replaced the steering gearbox assembly under warranty on XXX(Invoice #XXX) due to this exact manufacturing defect.
The 2025 Honda hrv will stall and cut off after pumping gasoline. It will stall out at a red light and not crank back up. It says emissions problem on the dash. I believe it is the fuel pump but there is no recall like the others i have seen online. It’s a brand new car it shouldn’t be having problems like this!
Back window of vehicle just shattered while parking without any physical damaged. This happened common with 23 and 24. Did not expect happened with model 25

The contact stated that after entering the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start, and the doors failed to lock. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, who diagnosed the vehicle with battery failure. The battery was replaced, but moments later, after leaving the dealer, the TPMS warning light illuminated.
