The air bags did not deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic, who had yet to determine why the air bags did not deploy, however, the contact was informed that the vehicle may be deemed a total loss by her insurance provider.
During crash the air bag did not deploy. The contact sustained fractured ribs and an injured neck and was transported via ambulance to the local hospital. A police report was taken, and the vehicle was destroyed and towed away. The cause of the failure was not determined.
The contact indicated that during the crash no air bags were deployed and the front driver and front passenger seat belts did not retract. After the incident, the front driver's side and front passenger side seat belts remained inoperable and the air bag warning light remained illuminated.
My airbags never deployed. The other car involved we hit at the rear driver side and all his airbags deployed. I hit my chin, head, and arms and feel naseau since the accident. Airbags should have deployed to prevent my head from hitting various parts of the car or worse brain shaking.
She applied the brakes and it was stiff but the vehicle rolled forward and slammed into the shop door.
No warning lights or messages appeared on the dashboard, before or after. I took the vehicle to an independent repair shop, expecting a belt problem. After inspection, the shop told me the valve lifters had failed and needed replacement, and that the camshaft would likely need replacement as well.
6.2l Engine Failure: Vehicle was purchased last November at 113000 miles and at approximately 127000 miles we heard a noise coming from our engine one morning. Took it to the dealer we purchased the truck from because we bought an extended warranty and they got back to us and said there were metal flakes in our oil.
The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was a misfire coming from the engine and the vehicle lost motive power and was violently shaking. The check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a collapsed lifter in cylinder #7.
