The contact stated that while driving approximately 30 MPH, there was an abnormal whistling and dinging sound coming from the vehicle, and the powertrain malfunction warning light was illuminated.

It causes grinding, like metal on metal grinding, the steering wheel locks in place at times and I personally almost dies several times from this.The locking steering wheel caused me to crash into a ditch because I could not bring the steering wheel back to center.
I was upstairs and happened to look out the window and saw my truck in the flower bed. It was still in park!!! Thirty minutes later and a group of small children would have been crossing that area.
It was so violent that my head, shoulder, arm, and left hand shattered the drivers window in each place they hit. Pictures show all 4 definitive places where each body part hit. I incurred a fracture on my left hand, shoulder, and head pain. I had to really force the drivers door open.

When I resumed driving, I came back into my lane turning slightly left and noticed that the steering wheel began to vibrate. I slowed the vehicle again and put on my hazard lights while attempting to reach a freeway exit. The vehicle began shaking as though I had a flat but again I did not.
After starting I moved the shift lever to put the vehicle in gear and the vehicle started to roll and my brake pedal went to the floor. Because my driveway has a slight ramp to it the vehicle kept rolling forward, I kept hitting the brake pedal but the brake pedal kept going to the floor and the vehicle would not…
